The Montreal Canadiens have sent down Finnish forward Jesse Ylonen to the Laval Rocket.
Recall that the winger was acting as an extra forward along with Ryan Poehling today at practice. He's not making the club for now, but it will clearly be a postponement for this one.
He'll be fine-tuning his game with Jean-François Houle's Laval Rocket this year. A crucial development year for the man who was a former second round pick in 2018.
I expect great things from him this year in Laval. Could he be recalled during the season if he has a good campaign? Without a doubt, yes.
