In a recent press conference, young Montreal Canadiens forward Juraj Slafkovsky discussed various important topics.
He talked about his long-awaited return to the ice, which is scheduled for today, and as we reported earlier, he also announced that he will be absent from the upcoming World Hockey Championship.
It doesn't come as a surprise to anyone and it was to be expected, but the question was still asked to him.
See his very direct response, precisely.
(Will you be at the World Championship in a few weeks?)
«The last time I was on the ice was on January 15th. What do you think about that?» - Slafkovsky
«We have so many good players in Slovakia who have played. It would be a bit odd for me to join the team. It would have been different if I had some games at the end of the season, but I wouldn't have enough time to be the best version of myself».
He is a strong ambassador for his country and his national team, in any case.
One thing is certain, Juraj Slafkovsky is still as interesting in press conferences.
