Renaud Lavoie just revealed the real reason why Jake Allen is the starting goalie for the Canadiens and it's not what we thought
Unfortunately, according to many, goalie Jake Allen did not necessarily live up to expectations last night against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Despite a few good saves, Two bad goals allowed by Jake Allen at key moments in the game gave the momentum back to the Leafs as Marc Antoine Godin aptly illustrates.
Many are still wondering why it was Allen, and not Samuel Montembeault, who was in net against the Leafs.
See Renaud Lavoie's explanations on this topic.
We must admit he made some good saves in overtime, but it's hard to ignore the bad goals that hurt a lot.
Do you believe that with Montembeault in net, the CH would have won?
