It's news that has been circulating a lot since Thursday night, when the renowned Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reported that the Philadelphia Flyers are interested in acquiring veteran Montreal Canadiens defenseman Jeff Petry.
As reported by our colleagues, from Fanadiens.com, according to Marco D'Amico who is a contributor to TSN690, the Habs could target center Morgan Frost, or sniper Tyson Foerster.
The 22-year-old Frost was a Flyers first-round pick in 2017.
He has seven points in 30 games this season with the Flyers.
The 20-year-old Foerster is a 2020 first-round pick.
Last year in the AHL, he had 17 points in 24 games. However, he was injured and had only three points in nine games this season.
Would you actually like Kent Hughes and Jeff Gorton to try to get their hands on one of these promising young forwards? They are both young forwards with great potential, and Frost can even become a top-6 center player.
The Flyers are currently trying to trade Rasmus Ristolainen and Justin Braun.
