Phillip Danault received a big slap in the face

For the last ten days, it's been falling like flies in the National League because of this new variant (Omicron).
Several cases are announced every day, which is starting to worry many players, who would not want to spend a quarantine on the road, away from their families, during the holidays.
All this to indicate that a former member of the Montreal Canadiens, Phillip Danault, has been placed on the list of players subject to the NHL's COVID-19 protocol.
Danault and the Los Angeles Kings were playing the Carolina Hurricanes yesterday, which will certainly push a few more cases each way.
At this time, it is unclear if a break will be implemented, but that seems to be the desire of many players. News on this should be revealed in the next few hours.
