Sunday night will be the first time that Max Domi will face his former team at the Bell Centre since he was traded with a third round pick in 2020 to the Blue Jackets on October 6, 2020.
It will be the same for Josh Anderson as he faces his former Blue Jackets teammates.
There is no doubt that both individuals will be motivated for this duel.
Remember that Max Domi's stay with the Habs ended in a strange atmosphere, as he had fallen down the team's hierarchy over time, after having a 72-point season in his first season here. Will the Montreal organization reserve a tribute video for his return to the game? Stay tuned.
Max Domi in numbers with Columbus :
85 games - 17 goals - 25 assists - 42 points - differential -22
Josh Anderson in numbers with the CH :
84 games - 26 goals - 14 assists - 40 points - differential -24
We agree, their contribution to a team is completely different, but after a year and a half, which team do you think won this trade?
Josh Anderson is much more valuable to the Habs than Domi is to the Jackets. However, the former number 13 of the Habs gives Anderson some nice competition on the statistical level.
Personally, I'd go for Josh Anderson!
