As many have noticed, for the past few weeks, Suzuki has had a new and unusual game day routine: he doesn't go on the ice.
Whether it's during his team's optional practices, or even during the Habs' regular practices (on game days), Suzuki is never present and that was the case again today:
Instead, he takes advantage of game days to get treatments in the morning.
This new "tradition" is causing many fans and observers to react. Some suspect an injury, while others suspect that he is tired.
After all, he is the only player to have played every game for the CH this season. In the end, we don't have the official answer, but it's all the talk.
In any case, it doesn't really matter because clearly, when the puck drops on the ice for the official puck drop, for the games, Suzuki is very present and he performs not nearly.
You can see why, despite his absence today, Nick Suzuki is absolutely expected to play tonight.
