As we all anxiously await the official announcement of the trade between the Montreal Canadiens and the Calgary Flames:
And possibly another trade made by Kent Hughes:
The excellent Dan Kramer explains the possible reasons why it's taking so long:
"Reasons this could be taking so long:
- Habs evaluating Monahan medical docs.
- Monahan's No Trade Clause details.
- Habs coordinating a second deal for cap compliance.
- Given it's August, a player involved in one deal or the other hasn't been able to be reached yet»
And there you have it! So we're still waiting, but stay tuned, we'll keep you updated by the second.
