On a day full of news for the Montreal Canadiens, the organization has just released a brief update on the condition of Quebec forward Jonathan Drouin.
Remember that we are still waiting for his second medical opinion (which he requested) to know if he can finish the season, or if he must have surgery immediately on his wrist and if his season is over.
That will be something to follow closely this week, but for now, we've just learned that Jonathan unfortunately still has to stay home. This delays the whole process:
"Forward Jonathan Drouin is still on the COVID-19 protocol and will continue to follow NHL guidelines." - Montreal Canadiens
He was actually absent this morning, at the official team photo, for that exact reason. He will be "photoshopped" and added to the montage, alongside Josh Anderson.
