While Kent Hughes expected to announce the signing of a new contract, with Martin St-Louis, towards the end of April, it now seems to drag on.

Some fans started to worry and others wondered if we were to see a turnaround in this file.
Today, there is news! Positive news! See what the very famous Darren Dreger (TSN) has just published:
"The @CanadiensMTL is keeping a low profile, but we can expect Martin St. Louis' contract extension as head coach to be announced very soon." - Darren Dreger
