While the Sean Monahan file continues to be the talk of the town, journalist Mathias Brunet has launched a concrete proposal to settle the matter.
While many are wondering if it would be better to sign or trade Monahan, Brunet suggests a contract extension worth $15 million (over three years).

Via trade, he could bring back a first round pick, but he proves, night after night, his usefulness to the Habs. Keeping Monahan in Montreal for the longer term certainly seems like an interesting option.
