Major announcement from the Canadiens as they are set to add big reinforcements to their lineup with Alex Newhook
Wow! That's some extraordinary news!
Just a few hours after the trade that sent forward Sean Monahan to the Winnipeg Jets, it turns out that some very interesting reinforcement will be arriving very soon in Martin St-Louis' lineup.
Great surprise upon returning from the All-Star Game: Alex Newhook is back and already practicing with the team!
This obviously means he'll soon be back in the game, and it's going to make a big difference in the lineup.
Newhook, 23 years old, has accumulated 13 points, including seven goals, in 23 games this season. He will now have much greater responsibilities with Monahan's departure, and it will be really interesting to watch him.
He is likely to be placed at center and paired with Juraj Slafkovsky, but stay tuned.
