Machabée tells a story between Price and Subban and it speaks volume about their relationship
In a very interesting interview with Patrice Bélanger on TVA's Sucré Salé show, Montreal Canadiens VP of Communications Chantal Machabée told an interesting and hilarious story about Carey Price and P.K. Subban.
It's interesting because it tells us a lot about the beautiful relationship between the two of them, and more importantly, it tells us a little more about the kind of person Carey can be, behind the scenes.
In front of the camera, he's very serious, but he has a great sense of humor:
"I'll tell you an anecdote that Martin McGuire told me. One day, he passes P.K. Subban and Carey Price in the elevator and they have bags in their hands. Martin says to them in French: ''Ah vous avez fait du magasinage les gars!'' and P.K. Subban says: ''Bonjour Martin! Oui magasinage!!" and he turns to Price and says, "Look, I speak French! And Price answers: "What do you have in your bag P.K.? Carey burst out laughing and Martin couldn't believe it.

Chantal told this anecdote after talking about her major new project for next season: asking players to take (basic) French classes.
The goal is for them to be able to say a few words in French and understand a bit of our native language.
