After Shane Wright's very confident and clear speech following the NHL 2022 lottery, it was now Logan Cooley's turn to reply and send a clear message to the Montreal Canadiens (we're talking about the youngster who should normally be drafted second)
Cooley really believes he has done enough to be in the conversation for the first overall pick.
The one who is actually seen by many experts as the second best prospect available for the upcoming draft was also paying close attention during Tuesday's draw.
Fun fact: he almost missed it.
"I almost missed it," he admitted with a laugh. I thought it was the next day and while flipping through, I came across the channel. (By accident) It was cool to see where I could end up."

"Right now, I think I have the skating stroke, hockey IQ, hands and several other attributes to play in the NHL. Ultimately, it will depend on my physical strength. I plan on working out this summer to get stronger. Ultimately, I will listen to the recommendations of the team that drafts me."
