With his official departure from the Quebec Remparts, his press conference today, and the serious rumors sending him behind the bench of the Ottawa Senators, Patrick Roy's name continues to circulate everywhere today.

We just learned something else good about him, and it comes from the excellent journalist Kevin Dubé, from the Journal de Québec.
According to his report, Patrick Roy was not supposed to leave the Quebec Remparts at first.
His initial plan was to stay as the general manager, but things eventually changed and he changed his mind. Why?
We will undoubtedly know soon.
