So, according to information from reputable insider Kevin Weekes, Kent Hughes and the Canadiens are reportedly in intense talks to possibly trade goalie Jake Allen.
An announcement could come as early as today or over the weekend.
This is something to watch very closely. This morning, Weekes also said that the Washington Capitals (who have Ilya Samsonov) are interested, and they just traded a goalie (Vitek Vanecek) to the New Jersey Devils, so they definitely need another masked man now.
So don't be surprised if, after Alexander Romanov yesterday, Jake Allen is traded soon.
