Kent Hughes speaks out on Martin St-Louis' future in Montreal and gives a big date
Speaking on the JiC show on TVA Sports, Montreal Canadiens general manager Kent Hughes took the opportunity to comment on the ongoing negotiations with Martin St-Louis.
When will an announcement be made?
"I hope it will be in the next few days. We're in discussions about the contract. I hope at some point next week we can make an announcement. Probably in the middle of the week. I've always tried, in negotiations, even as an agent - we talk about win - win - I want it to work for Martin and I want it to work for the Montreal Canadiens. Sometimes it's really through discussion that we find a way to structure a contract that works for both sides." - Kent Hughes
He even goes so far as to announce a possible date for an official confirmation. So to be continued in the coming days.
