Jeff Gorton and Kent Hughes have a lot of work ahead of them to bring this team back to something brighter. They are aware that the nights will be short in the coming days as they want to take action quickly.
Hughes confirmed that the situation is urgent and that he will do everything to start moving pieces on his chessboard before the transaction deadline. We can understand this vision since the «job» is colossal, I remind you!
Here is a quote that Claude Guillet shared via his Twitter account:
«In an interview with The Athletic for an article that will be published later this week, Hughes didn't want to name names, but seemed open to going to the market right away rather than waiting until the deadline.»
So, are you getting ready, dear Montreal Canadiens fans, Kent Hughes should be moving soon, if not in the next week? We're talking here...
