The Montreal Canadiens just released a last-minute official statement to announce two interesting hires.

"Two new hires within the sports medicine department:

Jim Ramsay is appointed as Director of Sports Medicine and Performance, as well as Head Athletic Therapist, while Maxime Gauthier becomes Head Physiotherapist."

You can guess that they will play a very important role next season, to keep the team healthy.

Here's why this is very interesting news:

"Head athletic trainers don't usually make news in the NHL, but Jim Ramsay leaving the Rangers after 28 years to go to the Montreal Canadiens is a big deal for Jeff Gorton and his team. He is widely respected as one of the best in the industry."
