One in particular: Vitaly Kravtsov.
There would also be a goalie, yes, another young goaltender. After Ilya Samsonov, the young Dylan Garand would be a target for Hughes and Gorton.
The 19-year-old Garand took part in the most recent World Junior Hockey Championship and should certainly continue the tournament this summer, with the Canadian team.
This season with the Kamloops Blazers, Garand has a 2.08 goals-against average and .922 save percentage in 33 games. He looks like a good prospect in goal, a future number one, but the Rangers already have the very solid Igor Shesterkin.
Garand could therefore become a good bargaining chip for them.
