It was picture day this Monday at the Bell Centre and the atmosphere at the rink level was excellent. In addition to being surprised to see Carey Price at practice, he looked great as he walked by, we got to see some antics from the players, including Cole Caufield.

A gesture that went unnoticed by many took place just before the club's practice. Jeff Gorton, Kent Hughes and Geoff Molson took the time to chat with the newest addition to the organization, Jordan Harris. This small gesture on the part of the staff speaks volumes and shows the respect and confidence they have in the young man.

When you know that the relationship between Harris and the CH's old GM was difficult, knowing that the organization wants him must be very good for the young defenseman. Speaking of the former GM, we recently learned that Marc Bergevin used the first name Josh (not Jordan) when speaking to the young man. So much for not feeling wanted...

However, it is certain that Hughes did not make a mistake in talking to the defender, as he has known him well for a very long time!
