We don't know when it will happen, but we're watching it very closely.
It's going to be brewing in New York soon (and not just about), and one of the names we have our eye on is Anthony Beauvillier.
The Quebec forward has been coming up in trade rumors for several months now in New York, and he is definitely not guaranteed to start next season with the Islanders.
According to David Pagnotta (The Fourth Period), Beauvillier could be traded and his name has been linked to the Anaheim Ducks, Dallas Stars, Seattle Kraken and Montreal Canadiens.
Interesting! Kent Hughes would be among the interested general managers and Montreal would be among the four favorite destinations to get hold of the young 25-year-old forward.
Beauvillier, 25 years old and from Sorel-Tracy, was drafted 28th overall in 2015 by the Islanders. He has 12 goals and 34 points (in 75 games) in 2021-22.
He earns $4.15 million per year through 2024.
