Great news for Juraj Slafkovsky on the opening day of free agency

"Club de hockey Canadien General Manager Kent Hughes announced today that the team has agreed to terms on a three-season entry-level contract with forward Juraj Slafkovský (2022-2023 to 2024-2025).

Slafkovský, 18, played 38 games with TPS Turku in Finland's Liiga last season, scoring five goals and five assists.

He helped Slovakia win bronze at the 2022 Beijing Olympics with seven goals in seven games to earn tournament MVP honours and was named to the tournament's all-star team.
