Goalie Carey Price reflects on his future in the NHL

At a press conference in the final seconds, Canadiens goalie Carey Price answered questions from reporters.
He admitted that he is still trying to recover from the Stanley Cup Final loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning.
"After 14 years of trying relentlessly. [...] It's really hard to be (having been) so close and yet so far away." - Carey Price
No. 31 also mentioned that he's spent a lot of time thinking, over the past nine months:
"Price said he's spent a lot of time reflecting on himself over the past nine months - personally and professionally - and feels like he's grown from experiences that have given him a trying time." - John Lu
Finally, what drew the most attention was when Carey spoke about his plans (both short and long term, with the CH). First of all, to finish the season, he will go "day by day" :
"Price said he felt pretty good physically after his Friday start. How many games he plays before the end of the season will be re-evaluated on a day-to-day basis, adding that his conditioning can still improve." - John Lu
And as for his long-term future here, he mentioned this:
"How many seasons does Price want to play? "All of them (he said with a smile)," referring to the years left on his current contract but one thing for sure, he wants to play as long as he can. The caveat is, "I want to leave hockey well and never be a burden to my team." - John Lu
So Carey intends to play for a lot longer, as long as possible. His contract runs out in 2026.
