Former first round pick Nicolas Beaudin will temporarily leave the Montreal Canadiens organization and the Laval Rocket to attend the Spengler Cup
In the last few seconds, the Laval Rocket announced some important news regarding a recent Montreal Canadiens acquisition.
Nicolas Beaudin, who was a serious candidate for an imminent recall by the CH, must temporarily leave the organization.
Good news for the youngster.
The Laval organization has just announced that Beaudin will represent Canada at the 2022 Spengler Cup.
This will be really interesting to watch!
"Congratulations to Nicolas Beaudin who will participate in the 2022 Spengler Cup. He will be back with the Rocket in early January."
He would normally be back with the Rocket in early January (at the latest), and that's when the Habs can recall him if needed.
