The Habs recorded their 19th loss in 25 games this season last night. Dominique Ducharme's men lost by a score of 4-1 to the Colorado Avalanche.

In his post-game comments, Nick Suzuki implied that the Tricolore played a good game. However, analysts Martin McGuire and Dany Dubé did not agree with the young center.

According to Dubé, it's clearly denial or a self-evaluation problem. The standards of the Habs players are not high enough right now because of the mediocre season they are having so far.

"Standards. I think that's it. You have to say to yourself when the game is over, that's not enough. They have 20 shots. They were overshadowed in the first half. They were still in it after two periods. The Avalanche are not a winning team on the road. They weren't even playing for .500 until they got to Montreal. I understand they're a better team than the Habs, but I don't buy into what Nick just said," he added.

It's clear that with a 6-17-2 record, the players must not care much about their performance. However, there are still a lot of games left on the schedule. Players can't give up like that early in the season.

How did you feel about the CH's performance last night? Do you agree with what Dany Dubé said?
