As reported by Patrik Bexell of Eyes On The Prize, CH prospect Frederik Dichow will finally arrive in Montreal today to begin his preparation for the Canadiens' development camp.
The promising goaltender is eager to familiarize himself with the city, as well as with the members of the Habs organization. Solid! This is a nice surprise for the bosses.
Dichow, 21, is coming off an impressive campaign in Sweden's second tier with Kristianstads IK, maintaining a 2.27 goals-against-average and a 0.929% save percentage.
Next year will be a solid test for the young Danish goalkeeper, as he will be playing for Frolunda SC in the Swedish first league (the big team). A nice promotion for him, in one of the best leagues in the world.
It will be interesting to watch, especially since many consider him to be a great hidden talent.
