Here's an interesting situation.
In the last few minutes, and just a few hours before their game against the Montreal Canadiens, the Carolina Hurricanes made an announcement.
Yaniv Perets has been reassigned to the Norfolk Admirals.»

Remember, Raanta was placed on NHL waivers earlier this month (and notably ignored by Montreal).
It will be interesting to see if he will be in net against the Habs, and also, to see how he will bounce back from all this.
Anyway, he has a second chance!
As for Quebecer Yaniv Perets, it's only a postponement.
Carolina is preparing to face the Predators in Nashville and the Montreal Canadiens.
Raanta, 34, has been shaky in the AHL (average of 3.00 and efficiency rate of 0.875), following a very difficult start to the season in the NHL. (record of 6-5-1, average of 3.61 and horrible save rate of 0.854)
In his NHL career, he has an average of 2.49 and an efficiency rate of 0.915 in 265 games.
