Indeed, after seeing his contract terminated by the Arizona Coyotes, his future in professional hockey seemed increasingly uncertain. However, the 3rd overall pick in the 2012 draft has signed a two-season deal with CKA St. Petersburg, where he will join a certain Matvei Michkov.
