A picture of Cole Caufield is circulating a lot on social networks and the result is very revealing

As part of the national funeral of the great Guy Lafleur on Tuesday, almost all the players from the current edition of the Montreal Canadiens were on hand, including of course Caufield.

There were also a few former executives, including Marc Bergevin and Dominique Ducharme.

We wanted to correct something here. Contrary to what some have reported, the reunion between Ducharme and his former players went very well.

It was cordial and respectful, the players were happy to see Dom again. There are sometimes images that speak louder than others and we have one of them.

A photographer captured a meeting between the former CH head coach and Cole Caufield outside. They look genuinely happy to see each other.

So for those who are trying to spin stories that there is a rift between Ducharme and his former players, or a rift between Ducharme and Caufield (who really hasn't produced up to expectations to start the season), well that's not the case.

It's just a picture, but many witnesses on site agree. The reunion was warm and sincere. In this case, the photo is very telling.
