When you are met by one of the biggest sports organizations in the world, you finish among the three finalists and in the end you do not get the position, it must certainly be difficult mentally.
This scenario, Mathieu Darche has just experienced it, he who seemed to be the big favorite, according to what circulated. The former number 52 finally lost to Kent Hughes... So this one must be debunked a bit by the final result?
His colleague and friend, Frantz Jean, spoke about this on the podcast La Dose. According to Jean, Darche is an exceedingly resilient man.
«When you have opportunities like this and you're not chosen, it's disappointing, but Mathieu is a very resilient guy. One day, Mathieu Darche will be a leader in the National Hockey League and a good one. For him, it is only a postponement," said Jean.
So, obviously, Darche is disappointed by this defeat, but he is the type of individual who immediately gets up and puts his gaze forward as sharp as a cat gets back on its four legs.
Everything is not lost for Darche since the Anaheim Ducks have still not appointed their new general manager. Several rumors have been sticking Darche to the Ducks for a week. To be follow, as the other would say!
