"UPDATE: To hell with the rule, Marc-André Fleury is wearing his Native American Heritage mask during warm-up. I'm told it's very unlikely that he or the Wild will be fined, but he's taking the risk anyway.

His mask is up for auction for up to $5,600, much more than any other item."

Remember, as part of Native American Heritage Night and to honor his Indigenous wife, Marc-André Fleury had a custom mask created by Cole Redhorse Taylor. A mask that quotes his father on the back and bears the names of his children.

As Russo mentions above, it's finally "very unlikely that he (Fleury) or the Wild will be fined." It seems that public outcry has finally reached the NHL.
