The Kings are fed up with Pierre-Luc Dubois and he gets demoted
Before their game against the Calgary Flames, the Los Angeles Kings made the following announcement regarding Pierre-Luc Dubois.
Clearly, his coach has had enough, and he has just demoted him to the fourth line of his team.
What a disaster. At $8.5 million a year until 2031, that's extremely expensive for a fourth-line player.
Pierre-Luc Dubois is not in his coach's plans for the NHL playoffs!
With the return of Phillip Danault, it's over for Dubois on the top three lines there.

Kings fans are also numerous in being very harsh on Dubois in the comments, especially because of his huge contract.
Dubois, 25 years old, 3rd overall pick in 2016, has accumulated 39 points in 79 games this season.
He is signed until 2031 for $8.5 million a year.
The Kings' general manager may have to deal with this issue this summer and be creative if he wants to get this huge contract off his books.
A case to follow.
