In the last few seconds, there has been some action on the NHL waiver wire.
Three names were placed on waivers, including two goaltenders and a former 8th overall pick of the Pittsburgh Penguins.
"Placed on NHL waivers today: J-F Berube (FLA), Evan Fitzpatrick (FLA), and
Derrick Pouliot (SJ)." - Chris Johnston
Berube, 31 years old, is a goaltender with 40 games of NHL experience in his career (3.50 goals against average and .898 save percentage).
He played six games for the Columbus Blue Jackets last season.
Fitzpatrick, 25 years old, is a 6-foot-3, 206-pound goaltender. He was drafted in the second round in 2016 by the St. Louis Blues.
He had a lot of potential when he entered the NHL.
Finally, Pouliot is a 29-year-old offensive defenseman who was drafted 8th overall in 2012 by the Pittsburgh Penguins.
He has 18 points in 26 games this season in the AHL, and he has accumulated 52 points in his NHL career (in 213 games).
