Edmonton Oilers complete another trade after losing Philip Broberg and Dylan Holloway to offer sheets
Journalist Mark Spector just dropped a big scoop regarding the Edmonton Oilers.
The long-time Oilers insider just published this:
«The Oilers will announce another trade involving a player this morning, alongside the release of the offer sheet.
Relatively minor, from what I understand.
Stay tuned.» - Mark Spector
This is a situation to closely monitor in the coming minutes.
A new trade officially announced by the Edmonton Oilers and Stan Bowman
Just seconds after our article was published, the Edmonton Oilers have already announced the trade in question.
And it's quite a strange deal.
«The St. Louis Blues have traded
Paul Fischer, along with a 2028 third-round draft pick, to Edmonton in exchange for future considerations.» - St. Louis Blues
This is a really special kind of trade, but it clearly seems like there was a lot of behind-the-scenes maneuvering between Edmonton and St. Louis.
This means that
Philip Broberg and
Dylan Holloway are officially players for the St. Louis Blues, and in addition to the contracts, it ultimately cost three draft picks (a second-round pick and two third-round picks).
