The Red Wings have just made a sad announcement regarding Jeff Petry, and it's officially over for him as a regular in their lineup
Things are not going particularly well for former Montreal Canadiens players with their new teams this season.
After Jonathan Drouin yesterday, today it's Jeff Petry's turn to be taken out of their lineup.
The Detroit Red Wings have just announced that it's over for him in their top 6, at least for now. Ouch.
Justin Holl takes Jeff Petry's spot on the Red Wings' blue line.
Check out the new lineup.
DeBrincat-Larkin-Raymond
Perron-Compher-Copp
Rasmussen-Veleno-Sprong
Kostin-Czarnik-Fischer
Walman-Seider
Chiarot-Holl
Maatta-Gostisbehere Petry will be in the stands tonight, once again.
Things are souring for him, and Detroit is clearly regretting their acquisition, especially since he still has two years left on his contract.
Let's hope things turn around for him, as the next two years could be quite long.
Details to follow.
