As Patrick Roy's name is increasingly being seriously circulated as a candidate among some NHL teams for the head coach position, esteemed Elliotte Friedman just dropped some major news.

The team that has genuinely contacted Roy for their head coaching position has just been revealed.
It's the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Roy could be a candidate for other teams as well, but it's confirmed that the Blue Jackets have seriously approached him.
Of course, this brings immense joy to fans who wish to see him back behind the bench of an NHL team. We love it.
