Dramatic Turn of Events for Ex-Canadien Jonathan Drouin, Leaving Fans Stunned
We talked about it when things were not going well, and it's very important to talk about it when things are going well.
Former Montreal Canadiens forward Jonathan Drouin is taking off with his new team.
The player who was left out of the Avalanche lineup less than a month ago, whom many saw either being waived or going to play in Europe to finish the season, is now one of the most important players for the Avalanche.
But what's happening with Drouin? What a turnaround!
Drouin went from not playing at all to playing less than 12 minutes per game, and now he's playing, on average, nearly 19 minutes per game in Colorado. (over the last 7 games)
He is on the first line and on the first power play wave with Nathan MacKinnon.
Even better, during the match against the Winnipeg Jets, he played 25 minutes and 22 seconds, a personal record.
Nearly 26 minutes!
In 24 total games, he has three goals and eight points, but that's after collecting 1 point in his first 11 matches.
Solid! We hope it can continue for Jonathan.
