We have some updates just hours before the game of the year between the Montreal Canadiens and the Carolina Hurricanes.
According to what head coach Rod Brind'Amour just confirmed during a press conference, there are even more changes.
It was to be expected, based on what we saw on the ice in the last few minutes.
Rod Brind'Amour announces major lineup changes ahead of matchup with the Montreal Canadiens, including the absence of star forward Sebastian Aho
That would leave the lineup looking like this:
"Svechnikov - Kotkaniemi - Hall
Robinson - Jankowski - Roslovic
Carrier - Brind'Amour - Stankoven
Jost - Nadeau
Orlov - Burns
Gostisbehere - Walker
Stillman - Morrow
Fensore"
Also worth noting, according to TVA Sports journalist Renaud Lavoie, the Hurricanes will be starting their backup goalie,
Pyotr Kochetkov, tonight.
Obviously, this is good news for the Montreal Canadiens, but of course, it doesn't guarantee a win.
