Last minute announcement for the Buffalo Sabres and the Montreal Canadiens

For the first time this season, we have a lineup of an opposing team to present to you, ahead of a match against our Montreal Canadiens.

As the Rookie Tournament finally kicks off, in just a few short days live from Buffalo, the Sabres have already announced their lineup to face the Habs.

For this match, as reported by Marco Normandin, here is the lineup announced by the Sabres.

Goalies (2):

Scott Ratzlaff and Josh Fleming

Defenders (8):

Ryan Johnson, Nikita Novikov, Vsevolod Komarov, Zach Metsa, Chris Jandric, Nicholas Savoie, Mats Lindgren, and Norwin Panocha.

Forwards (15):

Matthew Savoie, Zach Benson, Jiri Kulich, Isak Rosen, Tyson Kozak, Filip Cederqvist, Vikto Neuchev, Olivier Nadeau, Aleksandr Kisakov, Ethan Miedema, Riley Fiddler-Schultz, Graham Slaggert, Lawson Shrek, Damien Giroux, and Dominick Mersch.

We note in particular the many first-round choices who will be in uniform for Buffalo : Ryan Johnson, Isak Rosen, Matthew Savoie, Jiri Kulich, and Zach Benson.

These last three being big names to watch.
