Brad Marchand is a pest in all senses of the definition. He's annoying to play against, with relentless tenacity and a neverending motor, and his personality is abrasive.
Going back a few days ago, there was a wild scrum between the LA Kings and Anaheim Ducks, where goaltender Pheonix Copley threw a commanding punch to the face of his opponent.
Copley was given a game misconduct, but no suspension. This clearly angered Marchand, who has seen himself watching from the press box several times in his career.
Marchand decided to compare this scene to the love-tap that got him a six-game suspension earlier in his career:
I got 6 games for a love tap, he got off with murder if you wanna compare apples
Clealry Marchand doesn't like being used as an example. While he is significantly underselling what got him suspended, he has a point: punishment in the league should be equal.
Whether you like him or not, Marchand always has something to say!
That's what got Marchand 6 games (his love tap on Jarry)
