The excellent Frank Seravalli, insider and journalist for Daily Faceoff, has just revealed major news regarding Mason McTavish.
Speaking about someone who could potentially be the final missing piece for the Montreal Canadiens, Seravalli mentioned that teams are trying to work on submitting an offer sheet. Wow.
I hope the Montreal Canadiens are among those teams.

We already knew that McTavish would be open to changing teams, but now it's even more interesting.

Mason McTavish, age 22, is a complete 6-foot-2, 220-pound center who was selected 3rd overall by the Anaheim Ducks in 2021.
He has totaled 140 points in 229 career NHL games, including 60 goals, and recorded 52 points in 76 games in 2024-2025, playing on a third line and with little power-play time.
He's an excellent center and quite the young hockey player!
