Matt Murray Caught Cheating Against Senators

Throughout the current season, Matt Murray has gained notoriety for seemingly 'cheating'. He has dislodged the net from its posts on multiple occasions, and once again, he was caught in the act last night.

Murray's Recurring Cheating Behavior

When a goalie accidentally knocks the net off its post once, it can be excused. If it occurs twice, it might be deemed a coincidence.

However, this scenario seems to have played out with Matt Murray around five times this season, as he repeatedly interrupts the game by displacing the net.




If it were simple to remove the net, more goalies would likely adopt the tactic. This raises suspicions about Murray's actions.

Fortunately, it appears that Murray won't have any nets to tamper with during the playoffs, as Ilya Samsonov is poised to secure the starting goaltender position.
