Fans Watching Closely as Trade Buzz Heats Up Around Young NHL Center Marco Rossi

It's back on in the NHL trade market, notably for young center Marco Rossi. The one who has been linked many times to the Montreal Canadiens could finally be traded, but not necessarily to the Habs.
After a few weeks of calm on the trade market, like every year, at the end of August the action picks up!
In short, trade talks are starting up again.. And according to the excellent Jimmy Murphy (RG Media), discussions have indeed resumed for a trade involving Marco Rossi.

"According to two different NHL sources, the Vancouver Canucks and the Seattle Kraken recently circled back with the Minnesota Wild to see where they stand in their contract talks with restricted free agent center Marco Rossi."
"Both were in on Rossi leading into and at the NHL Entry Draft, and until probably mid-July, and I'm hearing that they've made it clear that if it gets to the point in the next month, where contract talks between Rossi and the Wild reach a point of no return, they want to see what it would take to acquire Rossi," one of the sources told RG.
"As for who the Wild could want in return for the 23-year-old, 5-foot-9, 192-pound Rossi from both teams, neither source could provide specifics on what Wild general manager Bill Guerin may want from the Canucks. So, talks have resumed for a trade involving Rossi, and that's not surprising, considering how bad things are (the relationship) between the player and his organization.
Thus, the action picks up for Marco Rossi.
So don't be surprised if the young Wild center is traded soon to Vancouver or Seattle.
Marco Rossi, 23 years old, is a 5-foot-9, 182-pound center who was the 9th overall pick in 2020 (1st round) and who collected 60 points with the Wild last season.
