As we reported in recent hours, there is a real possibility that star forward Elias Pettersson could be traded by the Canucks. This is obviously an option that Kent Hughes and Jeff Gorton must consider, as he could become the Artemi Panarin of the Montreal Canadiens.
We're talking about a forward capable of scoring 100 points per season, which is truly electrifying offensively.
Jack Eichel was traded a few years ago, and it seems like Pettersson could be the next star forward to face the same fate, notably due to his complicated relationship with his teammate J.T. Miller in Vancouver.

Knowing all this and knowing that the Montreal Canadiens have the assets necessary to put together a very interesting offer for the Vancouver Canucks, a concrete proposal has just been raised.
