Stay tuned, we have some action this Wednesday night on the NHL trade market and it's major.

An agreement concluded between the Canucks and the Flames involving Elias Lindholm.

See what Darren Dreger reports:

"The Canucks and Flames are indeed working on a trade. Kuzmenko could be involved, otherwise, it will be picks and prospects.

Lindholm to the Canucks. Not yet 100% completed."

And see the confirmation from David Pagnotta.

"As Elliotte Friedman reported, a trade has been agreed upon between the Canucks and the Flames that will see Elias Lindholm join VAN.

Andrei Kuzmenko is part of the agreed deal, but Calgary is on his no-trade list. He must first approve the trade. I'm told that process is underway."

In essence, it is understood that Lindholm will definitely be traded to the Vancouver Canucks.

It remains to be seen if Andrei Kuzmenko will be involved or not. If he approves the trade, it will be settled.

Otherwise, Calgary will receive picks and prospects instead.

"A trade has been concluded between the Calgary Flames and the Vancouver Canucks. Elias Lindholm and Andrei Kuzmenko are involved."

Things are heating up!

This is obviously major news for the Montreal Canadiens, because it just blew up the value of Sean Monahan on the trade market, who instantly becomes the best available center player.

This is big for Kent Hughes, especially more than a month before the deadline.
