In the last few minutes, we have had our first official statement of the year 2024, coming from the Montreal Canadiens, and of course, it's bad news.

As the team prepares to face the Stars, live from Dallas, we learn this.

«Christian Dvorak will not participate in this morning's practice session (treatments).» - Montreal Canadiens

The absence of Dvorak is thus confirmed and we should not expect to see him in the game anytime soon.

This may force Kent Hughes to make a move and recall someone from the Laval Rocket.

This could also force Martin St-Louis to completely shuffle his lines and separate Jake Evans and Sean Monahan, so that both can play at center.

We will be watching this at the morning skate, which starts in a few seconds.

Dvorak, 27 years old, has accumulated 7 points in 25 games this season, after having gathered 28 points in 64 games last season. Unfortunately, he has had to deal with numerous injuries since his arrival in Montreal.

Details to follow.
