In the past few minutes, the Montreal Canadiens organization made two important announcements.

One regarding defenseman Kaiden Guhle:
"Kaiden Guhle will not be playing in the game against the Golden Knights. His condition is being evaluated daily due to an upper-body injury.

And another regarding Jake Allen:
"Jake Allen will be starting in goal for the Montreal Canadiens.
