Disturbing scene during an intra-team match of the Maple Leafs
During the last minutes of an intra-team match of the Toronto Maple Leafs, we witnessed a very disturbing scene.
One of the best prospects of the organization, Roni Hirvonen, a second round pick in 2020, was gratuitously demolished in the center of the ice.
He was very dazed. See the images:
Note the reaction of his assailant afterwards...
"There's no reason for Nolan Dillingham to do this during an intra-team game, especially at the expense of one of the Leafs' top prospects. This is how you lose a contract, not how you win one."
Well said! It smells like the end for him at the Leafs camp for this hard to understand decision.
Hirvonen has already been confirmed to have suffered a concussion.
