In the last few seconds, the Ottawa Senators have announced that they are firing their head coach DJ Smith.
This is the news that many Patrick Roy fans were eagerly waiting for, and now a door opens for him.
It's worth remembering, of course, that he is well acquainted with the new owner of the Sens.
